Classification of Vibration Test Bench
We all know that in the process of transportation, usage, storage, etc., almost all products are bound to experience collisions or vibrations, which can cause damage to the products and result in some economic losses. Therefore, in many daily situations, the manufacturers or factory managers will want to know in advance the collision resistance lifespan, service life, or the condition of the products after collision. So in order to obtain these results, the vibration test bench was born.
To put it simply, it is actually a machine used to simulate the vibration and collision process of the products. Through the control system's control, it can truly simulate the results that may occur in reality. Therefore, in the process of product production and inspection, it is very useful. So, how many types does the vibration test bench have? What are the classification standards?
Firstly, according to the environment that needs to be simulated, it is divided into sinusoidal vibration test and random vibration test. It is actually quite easy to understand. The random vibration test is the random amplitude and random frequency, which is more like the effect during the product transportation process. While the sinusoidal vibration test has a fixed frequency and amplitude, which is more like the cumulative damage produced by certain components or equipment in a fixed working state.
Secondly, there is also classification according to the vibration principle, into hydraulic, mechanical, electromagnetic, and electric categories. Most of these classifications are determined based on the volume and weight of the samples to be tested. For example, electromagnetic is suitable for small volumes.
